Ready In Just A GIF

Sometimes, you just have to laugh.

Social media continues to evolve with concepts and enhancements designed to engage participants. Graphics Interchange Format (GIF) has enabled people to express comments on various social media platforms by sharing video snippets of the related topics. For the most part, GIFs tend to add doses of cultural comedic relief. And, in times of heavy stress and complex situations, a giggle break may be just the breath of fresh air one needs in order to maintain emotional balance.

Now, listen to this: even my psychic consultation sessions have hitched onto the GIF brigade! That’s right; during meditations, I have intuitively received insightful visions in a GIF-like format! When this happens, I realize it’s time to add a little humor into the client’s session, while at the same time, conveying a message.

Recently, I was having a discussion with a friend regarding the pronunciation of GIF. While the Oxford Dictionary accepts both “hard” G and “soft” G (like a J) verbally, Steve Wilhite, GIF inventor, weighed in on the debate. He compares the pronunciation of GIF to the popular peanut butter, JIF.

Guess that means we’re meant to spread the fun!

Love and light and laugher,

Tony

GIF is JIF!
